So much for spring melt!

It's the middle of March and here in London, Ontario it's snowing.  We got six inches between last night and today!  Yipes!!  I left sunny and 70s Houston yesterday for this crap!

So welcome to the blog - and here all I'm doing is griping and not giving you a warm ROCASS welcome!

This is your venue to bitch and moan at will  . . . or conversely if you're a snow angel then you can wax poetic about the wonders of the white stuff.

Weigh-in now!

  1. I enjoy snow. However, from, time to time, I find myself complaining about the white stuff. I believe as result of being subjected to peer pressure and simply following the consensus at the time.

This morning while driving on Riverside Drive going to pick up my basket full of market goodies from Remark, I had a moment in my truck when I viewed the freshly fallen snow on the leafless branches of a parade of trees that lined the road. The view was simply beautiful and I caught myself in a moment that I was selfishly happy to share with just myself.

My walks with my puppy, in the fresh crisp air, trucking through the snow which tends to provide a great workout.

I can't figure out how to post it. This is the problem with having an IT guy at the firm who does absolutely everything for me - hence I only know how to type on computers. LOL

Here is what I tried to post: If you can figure out how to post for me please do. Thanks.

Rosy cheeks as a child enjoying building the tallest, biggest, snowman only to discovery that the head you just rolled is too heavy to lift and place safely on the waist. Tobogganing, downhill skiing and snowmobiling are sports that I thoroughly enjoy. Almost as much as that delicious hot chocolate and bailey to warm my tummy after a day of outdoor winter sports followed by a good night’s sleep.

Watching the snow fall from the windows of my home for some reasons provides me with a feeling of being content.

Once Poul and I were sitting in the hot tub and the snow flakes were big and plentiful. We could barely see each other through all the fresh fluffy snowflakes falling so freely from the dark night sky. We stayed in the hot tub enjoying our glass of wine feeling like children that were outside playing in the first snow fall of the year. Also, can’t forget about running from the hot tub to make the perfect naked snow angle.

Finally, what would Christmas be like with snow!
